Hello, I am using FLV high bandwidth preferred format, very good quality but after watching a few clips, let's say 6 or 7, the hone freezes. Before I used H264 (720p) format and at the second or third clip, the phone freezed. Any advices? I started core player after closing all apps so I have full RAM. Thanks.

Not the same issue, but i too have glitches with Core Player 1.3.

After playing a mp4 file, particularly, but also 1 avi file i have, i get a little screen corruption on the SE panel 1 (not using other panels, lately) .

If i play video, or music for a couple of hours, i can get freezes, or lock ups with the phone.

I dont know if this is down to Core player not using the video drivers properly, or something like that. Rumour has it, they are trying to gain support for the Qualcomm hardware in a later revision.

Hope this is of some use to you.

Freeze up issues seem to be common with CorePlayer and the X1i. CoreCodec Group is hoping to fix the issue with a version update. They actually refunded my purchase because they could not fix these current issues with this revision. Which tells me it is more of a program compatibility issue with the X1.

I simply asked them to fix the issue or refund me if they were not able to resolve it or offer a viable solution. So after asking me a few questions with no avail they told me they would fulfill my refund request. Which was confirmed by the billing company.

Again, their final thoughts was that the freezing may not be fixed until they release a new software version. There is nothing you can tweak in version 1.3.0 that will remedy this.

This is too bad, because this software is they only one i've found so far with the widest format support. I have a folder filled with anime episodes that are formatted in 4 different video formats. WinMo Player nor Divx Player can handle all the formats. I didn't want to resort to re-encoding all these files. However, CorePlayer can play them all, but not seamlessly or without hicups. The trick for me is to literally not interrupt the file as it is playing.

From what I read widely at xda-developers,
TCPMP player, not developed anymore but free,
can play almost anything.

@Dom

That's the point. No longer developed and unfortunately it lacks a lot of features.

hi, thanks for your help. making tests yesterday i found out that using normal quality formats h264v i have zero freezing problems and image is acceptable, well, looks fine, so the problem comes when i use high quality/bandwidth format.

@sidnasheik
this mega codec lit is a software like core player right? where can i get it?

Thanks,

Sidney

hi, i just wrote to support guys and they replied this:
'Hello,

Thank you for writing to the CoreCodec Support Group.
We are not aware of any issues like this but we will take a look at the problem.
If this is a network file you are trying to play you might want to increase the size of the cash.

Regards,

Nicole Marlin
CoreCodec OEM Sales and Customer Support Group'

they say they are not aware about this kind of problems, so they 'forgot' about you or something. I hope they find the solution soon.

I've noticed that most of the times this problems occurs when I don't let finish a clip and try to play another one.
