I have a k800i that is still in great shape and I loved the phone but it now has a serious problem! When I turn the phone on and it boots up the the background picture and all menu options have shifted to the top of the screen. I can see the menu selection and when opened the very next screen is also shifted upwards making it impossible to use the phone. I have tried to upgrade the software but is informed by sony it is running the latest software. Any ideas??? I've not seen any other posts on the site in regards to this problem. I now have a c905 but still want my old phone as a back up.

Many thanks if anyone can help

try to perform a master reset. if that doesnt work you should think in flashing it.

Seems like problem in the layout.xml and menu.ml files (if the hardware is working) Master reset may, but flashing WILL solve all software related problem, so if you need flashing guide, you have link to one in my signature. And firmware can be downloaded from www.4shared.com
