Hi all,

I’m totally new here and also for my new phone C905.
My question is:
Is it possible to transfer a text file from the computer (Mac pro) to the C905 and use it as an SMS or as a concept?
I tried it several times... no luck! Maybe the wrong prog (TextEdit)? Or... ?

I thank you all for your help.
Kind regards,
Raven.

I don't know for macs but all phones manifacturers has got programs that you can use on windows systems so try to see if there is one from se for macs and then you'll be able to send an sms from your computer. Of course you should have linked your phone either with the usb cable or bluetooth if you have it on your mac .

Well for Windows I know MyPhoneExplorer does great for backing up SMS, I'm not sure if there's a Mac version.

Yeah MyPhoneExplorer would be the best way to do it because it lets you type out messages on your pc and send them through the phone.... Or maybe your network offers webtxt like O2 Ireland does... That would work to....

VodafoneNZ allow users to send txt from any computer to any phone and this can be done online from the website or from the Mobile Connect Lite software if you have a Mobile Broadband device like I have.

I prefer using MyPhoneExplorer though.
