Hello,

Was looking around my SE C905 and found that there is a section in messages called "IM" this seems to be an instant messaging service that requires you to input a server address to gain access to your proposed instant messaging account.

I was just wondring if anyone had any idea what the server address is for MSN messenger or if there is anyway of using this IM section to access my MSN account??

I know on older Son Ericssons it was called "My Friends" but on my debranded C905 it is called IM!

Please help!

I'm also curious about this if anyone has more info. Loads of reviews for the phone state that it supports Windows Live Messenger among other standards, but my provider doesn't supply a C905 compatible version of the Microsoft app so I was wondering if it might be through the IM menu option somehow.

Thanks in advance.

Phil.

I know you can to create an account on mobjab.mobi and then you put the settings in your phone. I've never tried myself so I may not help on how it works.

Hey Steve, thanks very much for this - it seems to work perfectly. Mobjab even gateways IMPS onto loads of other messaging services (MSN, Yahoo, etc.) If anyone else wants to give it a go, go to www.mobjab.com and sign up for a free account.
