Hi!
got this phone couple of days ago and it works greate!
But one thing I dont like is the webbroser, so i Installed opera mini, but found out that it does not use the wlan connection on java apps, is there a way I can do that?
I tryed to make a new java profile, but I cant select wi-fi there, its on the list, but its "greey" and not selectable, so is there a way I can get this to work?
I also have an other question, is the gps free to use? if I use google maps and turn of a-gps? Also struggling to get the phone location on google maps, why is that? was inside of my house if that have any meaning, but my buddys n82 with nokia maps worked fine and found the location really fast :/
Thx for any answers, and sry for any bad english =P

Hi, not sure about the wlan but GPS itself free to use as it simply picks up satellite radio signals. The thing you need to be careful of is some GPS apps download the maps on the fly over the air which will get data charges. In fact I wouldn't even use one of those unless you have a data plan on your phone contract. As far as I know the a-GPS uses the phone mask signal to triangulate and so also shouldn't cost anything (but not certain on that) .
Not used Google maps but have used Trekbuddy and just loaded WeTravel, both of which store the maps locally and so no data transfer costs.

Still hoping for some answers for the java thing, would be cool to use an other browser, and to install som messenger clients to use over wlan
