I bougth a c702 a month ago, after I took it to the beach some keys started to get stuck. They still work when you press them but they are stuck there, no clicks when pressed.
If you hit the phone a bit some times they start working again, I was thinking of taking the phone into parts in order to clean it but as its sealed I don't think thats a good idea.
What do you think?
Thanks.

You have 2 options to fix the phone...

1. It would be the best to get the phone back from where you bought it.. If the phone is still under warranty you will get it fixed for free...

2. If you think you can take the phone apart, you should look for C702 dissasembly guide (recommended with pictures) so you can open the phone properly and clean the keys.

It should, if you don't let any more dirt to go in the keypad.

Actually it happened again. The thing is that it happens with different keys. Once is the 4 then the 9 and like that, I think there is some sand under the keys that is causing the trouble. Lets see if time and vaccum takes it away, I really don't won't to take the phone to pices.

Send it in for repair. They might charge you a bit but that's because it's kinda your fault.

I didn't send it to repair and it has been working well almost for a month. I will keep you informed if it fails again.
Thanks.
