Hi,

Using C905, and when I add folder "Mp3" wich only includes .mp3 files to the Now Playing, it plays all types of files like .mp3, .midi and recorded files etc..

Which file and where to edit to give the command to the phone to just play .mp3 files in the Music player?

Thanks..

It already does contain .mp3

Think I read somewhere that it was possible, but don't remember where

Yeah that's ok by putting the files into the Ringtones folder, but what about a phones like P1 for e.g... It searches the memory stick totally hahaha...

Anyway, as far as I know, the playlists are one of the best options you have available... Don't think that there is app that sorts songs by their format atm...

Yeah, this is the best thing to put all midi files in ringtone folder from getting detected by media player. Apart from this, you can also change the properties like album name, artist name etc, to manage your mp3 files better. This will help you to access your favourite track in media player very easily.

Yeah, download a free version of winamp and use it's auto tag option to get the right artist name, album, song name, genre and etc... for all of your songs. The phone will sort them separately and correctly then.
