C905: How to view clock and text icon etc. when in standby? |

Hi,
On my K800i when I'm not using it, the screen shows me the time, and if I have a SMS or missed call using an icon.
When my C905 is not being used its just a black screen - how can I get the same info on this?
Please let me know if I'm not being clear.
Thanks

I want to know this too.
It's sometimes annoying that I have to press a button when I want to see the time.

Thanks - but it would be better if it could show that info when in standby.
Thanks anyway.. |

db3210 phones no longer have it. Further power saving trick probably.

Since they anounxed the db3210 devices, the phones have a energy save Display. The Backgrounds are now black. So it`s only possible with pressing the volume key`s!

Thanks for the news. Shame about that, I liked that feature.
Do you know if the other thing I miss is possible:
Getting the SMS messages in my inbox to stop showing me the first line of the message?
Thanks

Yeah it is the power saving as far as I know... The new A2 platform phones use some sort of "advanced" power saving which (as it can be seen) seems to be turning off the display completely to save more power. Sometimes this comes handy, but sometimes it doesn't.
