Using your phone on holiday could be about to get cheaper.

Politicians at the European Parliament are making plans to force mobile phone companies to lower prices.

They've already done it with calls and now they say texting home from countries in Europe should cost less too.

"You'll definitely pay less than you do now," says Member of the European Parliament Adina Valean, who's backing the plan.

"The proposal is to reduce the cost of sending an SMS to 11 cents."

I am sure that sending texts from the EU about 7/8 years ago was the same as from the UK.
