hi.
i have just ordered a MA 620 Infrared Adapter USB for use with my pc and phone.
Just want to clarify a few things, what can i send via infra red? themes? pictures? ringtones? communicam photos?
What software is there to do this? i have tried to download themes via WAP but they dont work, so am hoping i can do this via IrDA.
Biggest question is i have the MCA-20 communicam 2 thing, and i have taken some pictures, will i be able to download them to the pc for full viewing in the chosen resolution when i took the picture? e.g. 640x480?
thanks, sorry i bet uve all heard this before, have searched forum, but nothing explains in great detail
All help will be appriciated

Basically, yes to all your questions!
You'll need to install the Mobile Phone Monitor software that comes with the phone and the MA-620 driver software that comes with the adapter.

yes you will be able to do all these things as I have the MA600 irda and use it to download themes, screensavers and wallpapers. You will also be able to sync your contacts with outlook using the syncML software that comes in the sales package. Hope this helps..

Try right clicking on the file you want to send and select send to ir device. I send all my files this way

just to further the above comment, if you have infrared on your PC, you do NOT need any additional software to send and receive items from the T68i (or even the t300). simply switch on infrared on your phone, and place in front of the IR module. The computer will "detect" another computer nearby, and then you simply right click the file that you wish to send to your phone, and select sento to infra red recipient. to send from teh phoen to the comptuer, simply selct the item you want to send to the computer, and chose send via ir in the menu, it will be stored as a file on the hard disk. You do not NEED any software to do all this, however, havign software may give some added features, like phonebook editing, etc.
Ericsson have mastered the IRDA format very well, and this compares to Nokia, where you must purchase software (Logo mananger) to send ringtones, etc.
