Is there a way to change how messages in teh inbox are viewed?

I just want it to show the persons name, not like name and first line of message.

@daviep he actually wants no details to be seen. Arranging messages by name doesn't remove the "first line" of msg in any individual folder.

superleeds27 YOu just need to go to inbox. Select Options->Scroll Down->List Options and choose NO Details

@buntoo-my unbranded c905 doesnt have that option,though my k850 does,they must have removed it from the c905s firmware.

Debrand your phone's firmware and reflash it with R1BA042.

This is exactly what I want to do.
I have an 02 branded phone and no option to remove first line of SMS.

Do I need to re-brand the mobile?

@Floob
My debranded C905 doesn't have the option either. The O2 branding isn't usually too restrictive but I haven't had a look at the O2 C905. I don't think debranding will help you here.

@superleeds27
My C905 misses a character occassionally at the end of lines in text messages. Hopefull it'll be fixed in the big firmware upgrade in February.

It is odd - as my 02 K800i does have it.
It is quite an important option for me, so I think I might go the debranded route.

I think many people have done this successfully - with the A2 tool?
