You have a faulty unit. Mine was stiff out of the box and did not click after 3 days it did not work anymore and I have had to send it back for replacement.

Common problem.

Actually I had the same problem, at first, after using it for a month, its gone! Just put up with it for a while and if it doesn't fix itself then send it for warranty

Hi,I just bought C905 last week and have the same problem which is the wobbly slider which is really annoying and the menu keys rather stiff. As a die hard SE fan I'm very very dissapointed with the premium level flagship cybershot model'S built quality.Nokia's N series N96&N85 looks so much better in built quality and features packed to the max not to mention the gorgeous 16 million colours screens ,though its a 5M camera. SE is totally out of the game now, even Samsung and LG are taking the lead...

Don't worry about the slider, it doesn't seem to be getting worse on mine. Infact I think the slider is quite durable, just loose.

I feel like as if SE is not getting actual Sony expertise in manufacturing and designing the phones.Have anyone ever had any built quality and design issues in Sony's consumer products ?And don't be fooled by the W902 adverts you see in sony websites eithers as it looks awesome.Wait till you see the actual units ,its looks like a plastic toy.

In my handycam it developed a screen problem, took it back to the shop, 2 hours later it came back repaired! Thats what I call good service!
