Nokia 8800 Arte Replacement Due? |

Anyone know of an Arte replacement in the pipeline? Or more specifically within the next 12 months.
Just had a call from my network informing me that I'm due for an upgrade at the end of this month.
Since I don't really fancy anything available over my current phone, I've been offered half price line rental for a year in return for extending the contract by 12 months.
So my options are to take the discounted line rental or wait and use my upgrade status as leverage to secure the next 8800 iteration.
I know that the gold Arte has been announced (which is probably the Arte's swan-song). Does anyone recall the length of time between the official gold sirocco and the Arte? |

Theres also 8800 Carbon, which is what id get. Between the Sirocco and Arte i think was a good 2 years or so if im not mistaken.
Arent Vertu made by NOKIA as well? Or use their s40 platform?

Thanks for the replies people.
I agree that the Vertu is the way to go, I'd love to have one but I couldn't justify the price right now, maybe in a couple of years...
