Web browsing - better than Touch HD |

I have come from an iPhone 2g and got the HTC Touch HD. Had it a few days and have to say I am finding browsing on it not the best experience.
Is browsing on X1 significantly different, I know it uses Opera Mobile also, but with the optical sensory thingy and ok button etc - does it make it easier to navigate?
Thanks |

I don't think the optical d-pad makes it any easier to navigate threw the pages, i don't use it. But I don't have any problems surfing threw websites on my phone, i might not be as smooth as on the Iphone, but it is not bad.

yeh, the IE on xperia uses the Dpad to scroll, which is a nice effect [i dont know if this is by default or by some program i installed because i have been installing so many lately]. I havent had a chance to try browsing on a HTC, but coming from an iphone 2G browsing is quite limiting [altho the X1 beats the iphone as far as typing goes] |

In responce to Dudesweet, I've had th Htc HD for few months & I rarely use th opera browser, it seems unstable in use, & speed is hampered.
However,
Internet Explorer in my opinion is lovely to use on HD

Once again I have to mention Opera Mini on X1:-). It's much, much faster than the Opera 9.5 and with the scroll-pad it's really easy to use. |
