Is there any way to delete the preloaded protected file tracks from my Sony Ericsson W980? |

I don't like any of sony's preloaded tracks and I want to delete them, but when I try to do that the phone says it cannot delete these protected files. I emailed sony, who have said it is not possible to do this, but I never take anything manufacturers say at face value. Has anyone figured out a way to do this?

Have you tried deleting them with xs++ if it works on your phone or other similar programs? |

You will need to use A2uploader for that.

Why is there a need to use the a2uploader? Can't it be deleted by just using xs++?

XS++ doesn't work with my phone. I tried it. Do you have a link to A2 uploader? |

W980 is an A2 phone.

Hi guys I hope you can help me, i've just got the W980 and want to delete the demo games & pictures on it. I've downloaded A2Uploader and it works just fine...but I cant find the stuff too delete! I see alot of folders & files that are not named as games or pictures so wont dare deleting anything incase I screw the phone up.
Any help will be greatly appreciated |

I haven't tried a2 yet, is it very different fr0m xs++? Doesn't it have tpa/user/picture and the like? |

Also you might want to do a backup of your files first. Here is the tutorial
