Are you sure you have latest lib? I don't think you have. It was updated on SVN on the 17th. Download it here...

Another tip: make sure you install it as a pkg 
About the Softkey hook/Shortcuts patches. You don't need to remove these but having said that I've been experiencing some reboots when using long press on the soft keys to open Java applications!
EDIT:
A couple of things I will say about AdvSoftKeys elf, its very good but its a nightmare to configure correctly. I'm still trying to work it out!!

well, i've downloaded the lib in morning and tried to get it work.
ok, i've downloaded the lib again and updated the lib.bin
now trying the elf again
i will post the result in a minute.

Works at last!
and now when i applied the softkey handler patch it conflicts with select event by timer patch, so i remove it.

ok
i think advanced soft key is a good elf but it starts slow and the left n right soft key label is very small to read.
BTW do you have the Additional shortcut v2.5fix patch which doesn't show the icons with the soft key labels?

Elfs that will reboot you phone if run directly!!!... (K800 only)
Installer elf (No need to run directly. Works when selecting *.pkg files)
ThemeUnpacker elf (Works if not in zbin folder!! and works if set as shortcut in BookManager. Works also with AdvSoftKeys elf)
BCFGEdit elf (Same as Installer elf; No need to run directly. Works when selecting *.bcfg files in config folder and as set as shortcut in BookManager)

In what way does it not work? Have u edited the bcfg? U should have 'Standby Mode' dir in 'ini' dir. |

it doesnt show any icons on desktop...
and whats Standbymode DIR? i have downloaded a zip file with elf and folders containing images.. icons i think...
should i put all of them in the ini folder? where should i placeStandbyMode.elf file?

i think i dont have an ini file for StandbyMode elf... none in the zip file... just a cryllic.bin file and some images... and a BcfgEdit.elf file

Elf goes in Zbin. Make a directory in ini directory called 'Standby Mode' or whatever u like, all files go in there. Run elf, Then edit the bcfg in config folder so it looks for the folder you have just created. Eg if U select Images then image1 there is an option 'file' make sure the path is the same as the directory you created like... %ini_int%/yourdir/yourimage.png:-)
