hello,
I have a k800i R8BF003, which i recently applied a number of patches (CID53).
i'm having a problem recently. suddenly i see the camera switching ON and then OFF automatically. ( HARD to explain due to bad english  )
What i mean to say is, i see the camera interface automatically popping up and then again going OFF within 1 second.
this happens when o remove the keylock or something like that. i dont know know exactly when ot happens but happens regularly (only when i'm pressnig the keys)
????
Any guesses ??

Maybe a problem with the switch that is activated by the lens cover, or a broken cable to that switch? |

Did it do this before u applied any patches? Any elfs running? And as it only happens when pressing keys, sounds like its a software and not hardware issue.

well , I never experienced before applying these patches and elfs. and elfs are not running. recently my mobile slipped from my hand too. may be that could be the problem
What should i do ?

Does the camera work when you open the lens cover? And it only does it when you press keys? |

My camera works fine.
And i dont exactly get it when i'm gettibg this camera . i mean to say that it is regularly popping up but not when i try to bring it up (i know you dont get my english)
Actually to know what is making it bring the camera, i tried different combination of keys but nothin happaned !!! really WEIRD !!

Weird indeed! I can only suggest flashing main or removing some of your later patches you applied and see if that sorts it.

Can you tell me what is this image that is blocking the time in the "sleepmode mod.elf" ?
what is the difference between the "SleepMode.elf" and the "sleepmode mod.elf" ?
"SleepMode.elf" is not working and i dont have "SleepMode.bcfg" ??
is there any ELF topic here so that i can ask LOADS of doubts ???

Sleepmodemod elf has not been configured. It uses the hex addresses to display icons in the same way as SYSGFX. Sleepmode elf and the mod version are configured by an ini it the ini folder, not by a bcfg. The two elfs are written by different authors but do basicaly the same thing.

I dont know about the HEX addresses, how to remove the amage that is blocking the time ?
I deleted the "SleepMode.elf" and only using the "SleepModeMOD.elf" is it fine ?

Should be although i dont use it. Started new topic on elfs should continue there methinks. |
