Hi, I have a K800i and as you guys can probably guess the Joystick has stopped responding to "Up" and "Right". at first I thought this was down to dust so I followed this tutorial: http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=143933 once I had finished "Step 4" I switched the phone on and tested the responce of the joystick... Nothing....

After putting my phone back together I started to investigate a the possibility of a software fault. I switched the phone to "Outdoor" mode and pressed joystick in all for directions and it beeped in all four direction indicating that it was responding. I then loaded a Java Game on my phone and again the Joystick responded to all four directions....

Now excited that this could easily be fixed by simply flashing the stupid little thing back to how it came out of the factory, I plugged it into XS++ and flased the firmware and the main files. I switch the phone on, it loads up like its never been switched on before but still the Joystick wont respond to "Up" or "Right"...

I tried converting my K800i to a K810 in some desperate hope that this could fix the problem, but again "up" and "right" will not respond...

Its not a hardware fault because it works in games and with key sounds on but it's not software because flashing the phone or convincing it that it's not a K800i but a K810 wont work either? its a Mystery....
