... or stick to good old windows explorer drag and drop? I also have itunes on my machine, so pondering whether to stick to drag and drop or use Media Manager on top? Is there anything Media Manager offers that drag and drop doesnt?

Yes, i use it although sometimes i use drag and drop too. AFAIK the only thing media manager does is create folder structure for you...

if thats the case I'll stick to good old drag and drop because ITUNES already organises the directory structure. Having experimented for a few mins drag and drop is loads faster as well.

I just use it for music and videos due it is too slow.

But if I don't use it the album art doesn't appear.

MyPhoneExplorer is really great, but, the album art appears when you transfer music with this sw?

I use the free version of MediaMonkey to keep music & podcasts synchronized between my PC & my Sony NWD-E052F Walkman player (recommended). It works great so far with that combo, will test it with the T700 this week.

The question often comes up on esato of why people need to buy a separate mp3 player when your phone (specially SE phones) already have great music players. In my case, the Walkman has much better stereo sound though the T700 quality is actually pretty good.

I'm a pretty heavy cell phone user with a ton of text, many calls , several bluetooth PC syncs, and a few browsing sessions per day. Having a separate music player saves up the battery for my work stuff.

It's also not a good idea to frequently flash your phone out in the open (fiddling with it's music controls) on the streets of Manila - you're practically begging to have it stolen.
