So i heard that i every new phone of SE this feature will come standard and for some old phones they will get updated with it. So question. The W705 will it come with it or no? I need that answer to see if i should get it or not. My second option is the 508 which i really love. So its 2 questions for me. No wait 3!
1. Will the 705 get threaded SMS from the box.
2. Should i go with that or the 508
3. Should i get neither wait till september for a decent phone(did i mention im stuck with a freaking R300 which i hate and sux?!) and get possibly the successor to the W350 or the rumored swivel phone? Or should i wait for hikaru? |

1. W705 does have the threaded SMS feature.
2. Really depends on which phone's design that you prefer, since they come from different product classes.
Nokia 3520 > 6600 > W800i > W890i > C702 > C905 > BB 9500 > Samsung INNOV8 |

Yes, and the Palm Pre has it too so it looks like it will be widely adopted across the industry.

I got a W705 a few months back on Orange contract in the UK. It does not seem to have threaded SMS (and I have tried hard to find it!). Could this be related to an Orange-specific software modification? |

'fraid so .... "branding" usually takes away some feature or another 
de-brand it and all should be good !
