Jeez, Samsung has taken a topple there hasn't it?

Edit: I think the data above is the market share of devices used for mobile data. From the link at the bottom of the page:
"Q: How does GetJar determine the handset statistics in our Statistics Area?"
A: GetJar has a sister company called wapalizer.com. Hundreds of websites use this service to track traffic to their wap sites. If you have a wap site, you should sign up and you can see an example and get free stats that will help you manage your wap site.
We aggregate the traffic from all wap sites into the general handset statistics that you see on getjar.com. So, the market share represented on GetJar is market share of phones that are actually being used for mobile data and browsing.

When i last checked Nokia was No. 1 then Samsung and Motorolla was 3rd and followed by LG and Sony Ericsson, with Motorolla taking a big loss in 08 i think its market share will drop to 4th or 5th leaving LG and Sony Ericsson to take up 3rd and 4th respectively thats just my speculation, but samsung is No 2 and not at the bottom like in this list.

Thats where the missing ~20% are.

that information can't be right, nokia is not selling so good lately and samsung is selling more than SE so i don't agree with this statistics

I've already posted that those figures are for mobile browsing by manufacturer. Click on the link at the bottom of the page. Sorry if I wasn't clear enough.

Now, the info is correct. However, one has to understand what the numbers represent. Where on Earth does it say anything about 'sold handsets'? They only tell us what device the user has, while accessing the site. And yes, NOKIA rules as usual - even in the java department. While many people know, Nokia is using the S60 OS, few seem to remember, Nokia handsets run java applications too . People, especially in here, like to think, java is a SE strong-hold, which is obviously wrong. Although, s60 is so nice, some nokia users bother with java too and by their shear numbers, walk all over the competition regarding java programs. This, once again, proves how far ahead NOKIA is, or 'how far behind' the competition has fallen .
