Are you using the default email client of your phone? What is the file size of the photo that you are emailing? Were you able to send photos before on your phone?

What is the file f0rmat of the ph0to? I think it is the settings or the default client itself affecting the file attached to the email...the ph0to is c0nverted into lines and numbers..all files can be represented by characters,lines,etc..

Can you check the settings if there are email options something like email formats or options for sending images like the image formats? I'm trying to figure out the cause of that problem. You know if you are going to open an image on notepad, it will show a mass of special symbols, numbers and letters. Maybe you're problem has something to do with the extension of the filename.

Yip its strange, I'm still at a loss, the format of the photos (taken with the P1i) are standard jpg, somewhere there is an encoding or transfer issue...??? I dunno, I'm pretty stumped, sending emails with attachements (photos) has been around a while so I can't believe there are still 'issues' like this...

It's actually a rare issue. I haven't encountered that problem since I used the default email client of my phone. I can send and receive image attachments without problems. By the way, are you pertaining to attachments or images embedded on the email? Is there are option on the message settings like message type wherein you can select text, fax, email, etc.?
