am from India. I have k800i which was locked to orange. Later i gave it ot a shop and they unlocked it. They said they just patch unlocked it and if i try to flash the fimware it will return to locked state. I want to flash my phone and want to unlock it permenantly. Please help me.... Please... Following is the log when i connected it to XS++

You will have to pay an unlocking service (Ultimate Unlocker/Total GSM etc) or ask ur operator for a unlocking code to unlock it permanently. 
Patches add/modify extra functions to the firmware and can change the GFX.

thanks.... But i want to know, if i flash my phone and it gets locked, can i patch unlock it myself freely. Please help me out. tell me the steps to do it. |

Yep. R8BF003 is the most moddable and can be found on 4shared.

Or you could update your phone to K810i and get virtually all the patches you'd ever want (R8BA024 that is)

ok. But can you tell me where i can find find complete patches for this firmware. K810 R8BA024.. Also please tell me a way to record sound from radio. Is it possible with a patch? |

one doubt sorry... I have following Main and FS to flash my K800i to k810.
Main
K810_R8BA024_MAIN_GENERIC_SM_RED52
FS
K810_R8BA024_FS_CENT_EUROPE_RED52
K810_R8BA024_FS_C_ASIA_RED52
My doubt is this. Is it all right to use any of the above FS with given Main? Can we use any Fs for this main? I am from India. Which customization should i choose? Please help me.. Please tell me important things regarding main and fs selection before flashing. Thank you |
