Do you agree, they are very pushy, jump on you when you walk in store, and have the worst after service.........

Never had a problem with them myself. Staff have always been friendly, found out answers to questions that I had and always been helpful.
In my experience Phones4U are a hundred times worse.

Yes i agree that Phones4U are a million times worse. Cant stand them. I guess even the top best retailers your still going to get some people who will experience poor service. No retailer or network is perfect. For me Phones4U are dreadful cos everytime i been in their stores(never again)its been an awful experience. And i must also say that although im with Orange their retail store staff are either poorly trained or dont give a shit. O2 on the other hand poor network but great retail and customer service. Swings and roundabouts really with retailers and networks. Carphone only ever annoyed me once. Wheng returned a phone to them they put through a second direct debit for insurance. 2 payments then came out. :@

If she was forced to buy a new phone why is she sporting as K300i in the pic!?

and yes, P4U are loads loads worse than CPW, CPW are salaried as well as bonus whereas as P4U are mainly bonus paid...

@ fatreg in my opinion its the Independent small mobile retailers as well as network specific retailers such as O2, Vodafone, Orange and T Mobile (not 3 - had bad experience in the 3 store's I go too) are good.

From the retailers I've been into it's a bit like this:

O2, Three, T-Mobile - Good

Virgin, Vodafone - reasonable

CPW, P4U, Orange - pretty poor...
My opinions on this forum are that of my own and not of the company I work for.

2 differing opinions from 2 O2 staff! ooooooh....

I think it all depends on what you expect in store, I've not been in a store since I left retail, what my network can't do over the phone isn't worth doing!

Shush you sarccy sod

But it's worth nothing, it varies from town to town. When we were The Link, our service was nothing short of terrible because to put it bluntly, we just didn't care anymore, the company had because as dull as dish water.

Obviously not the case now, but when I've been to other mobile shops in other town, they've all had different levels of service.

oh damn right...

it varies from day to day too... there were some days where I really couldn't be fudged and then there were days where I wanted to earn me some bonus so pounced on anyone that came through my door and churned and switch sold til it was closing time.....

Well ive never had a problem with cpw ever mind you could be to do with spending hundreds of £££'s with them over the years in fact im on first name terms with all the staff at my local one lol, they see me walk in and say ' hi michele '

the worse customer service ive received is from phones4u in fact now refuse to go into any of their shops!

as for orange, o2, t-mobile and voda never had a problem with them and have always found the staff polite and helpful
always look on the bright side of life...de dum..de dum..de dum..

When you go to a CPW store with an instore repair centre i find it very very good. I have often before given them my phone which had a software problem and they delt with it before they closed the same day. Though i have heard some reports of some stores taking in phones for repairs and the phones had been given back with scratches on. Vodafone also have some stores with in store repair centres and from previous experience they were very good. They text you when your phone is ready and its progress. Never had an experience with 3 stores.

Thats what gets me whenever i used to go into Phones4U to say top up my phone. All they would do is keep firing questions at you trying to sell you a contract. I know they have their sales targets but if i wanted a contract i would have asked for one. Right?
