Nearing the end of my contract with O2.

Currentyl on a 12 Month contract, at £30 and it gives me 400Mins and 1000 Texts.

Im thinknig of switching to Simplicity, although this means i dont get a new phone.

Ive been with O2 for 3 years now.

What kind of offers do you think i would be able to get?

I was hoping i could get around the same, for maybe £5 less, on a 12 month?

Thoughts?

From my experience they wont do anything unless you go for a 18 month tariff.

they always give good deals on simplicity plans. call them up and see what they can give you. yes they give you deals on 18 month contracts too when they give you a handset. but i am sure you can expect a more of a better deal on a sim only plan, as they do not have to provide you with a handset.

So do they not offer 12 month upgrades any more ???
I am more than happy with my 500 mins and 400 text/mms for £25 a month.

I think you've gotta haggle with them, thretening to leave normally works.

If you have seen better sim only offer's elsewhere. Tell them about it. 9/10 they will beat the offer you have seen or match it.

They're now letting you stay on a 12-month contract, but ONLY if you keep your current tariff, so not great in this circumstance really...

Only best bet is keep ringing up and haggleing to see what you get, you might even get a phone on the cheap too.

Its a good deal for t mobile. its a shame about the fair usage limit of (2000/3000 sms u get and the fair usage limit of the internet)
