I often find that the C905 camera doesn't use the flash on backlit subjects, so the foreground is in darkness.

Is there any way to force the camera to use the flash?

Or

Is there an optimum setting (autofocus? exposure?) to make the camera "fill in" with the flash?

many thanks

That's because the flash can be turned OFF. I want to force it ON.

I'm also wondering about this. In many situations, it's useful to force flash when shooting.
