I have TomTom Navigator 6 on my P1i I don't use it a huge amount - but it was new just over a year ago and I am finding that lots of the roads have changed and was contemplating buying a map upgrade.
My current version seems to be 650.1046 - I cannot find out what date this map was new...
On the TomTom site the latest map for Nav 6 seems to be 6.75 ??? - complete mismatch of numbers  ??? - but the other major problem is that I have found references to this being the latest map at the beginning of last year - I can't see the point of paying £29.95 for a 1+ year old 'new' map  - unless of course mine is about 5 years out of date - then I suppose it may be worth it  
Any advice?
