i own the X1a which has only been out for a week or so in Australia.
I am on the Telstra network, and all profiles except my MMS are working normally.
this is the only real problem that is affecting me- as i recieve MMS all the time.
i have tried changing the settings(and even creating a new profile) in the settings/connection/connections/advanced directory.
when that failed i went to
start/messaging/"smsmms"/ and opened up the mms settings in there and reconfigured.
the problem is easy to spot. the settings the X1 grabbed automatically are wrong.
When i either edit the default one or create a new one with the nessesary changes to work- i find theconnect and download abilities are disabled.
i have gone to telstra and they have no X1-specific settings for me, so i went and grabbed the generic ones they have.
nothing is working, and i really want everything on this work work like a charm. this is the only feature that doesn't.
anyone else got an idea on what else i can try doing- so i can retrieve these MMS before Telstra deletes them from the system?
