Possible to enlagre video resolution with firmware on a S500i? |

is it possible in any way to modify the QCIF on my s500i to a higer res, a firmwear or some sort of program....anything , it's driving me nuts.....thanks in advance  !

no, mate, it's not possible. this is supossedly limited by the hardware.

ok ... but , which hardwear? , the cam is a 2MP , the cpu?,its an ARM 9 or something like that , but there is a nokia , from the 6 series, which can film in VGA res, why?,it's cpu has rather the same power... |

The phone you're talking about also has a 5 MP cam.

it does not depend on the camera megapixels..... it depends on the phone's hardware ability to handle large data bitrates.
i think SE is limiting the video recording resolution on purpose!!! | |
