So I heard awhile ago that T-Mobile was on its way over to Canada and I'm curious. Is T-mobile better than Fido? I was thinking of getting into a contract to get a new phone but if I did I wouldn't be able to switch over. Considering Rogers and Fido are the only companies in Canada that are GSM providers how much do you think T-Mobile's launch will affect the plans Rogers/Fido have?

I notice a lot of people aren't from Canada here so what are your takes on it?

Well T-Mobile has always been cheap here in the States and I'm guessing that it would be cheap as well in Canada which might make Rogers reconsider their prices, on the other hand, Rogers has 3G and all the good phones and T-Mobile only recently got 3G with unique bands and their phones that can use 3G are really limited and aren't too good.

Good to hear, Roger's data plans are just ridiculous. I'm not too big with 3G since I barely even use the phone for anything more than things like weather, mail and a media player. I know this is probably a stupid question but will unlocked phones work on T-Mobile's network?

You should be able to, because I'm able to use my N82 on T-Mobile just fine. The GSM bands shouldn't be different if T-Mobile were to open in Canada.
