Problems with my K810 |

Recently after trying to flash it (which I think I probably botched up real badly) my phone doesnt even turn on anymore. All that it does when I press the power button is that there is a red light that blinks in the IR window. I have no idea what to do because my computer wont recognize it. Any ideas on how to fix this? And if it involves reflashing it, are there any detailed guides or something along those lines since I dont trust myself to flash it correctly anymore...=)
Thanks
Btw, I have no idea what the CID on this phone is. |

You should find a way to check battery and charge it if empty...
Next:
1/Try to clean phone`s connector
2/download SETool Lite 1.08
3/start it
4/push "Identify" button
5/hold together 2 and 5 on phone`s keypad,not "C"
6/plug the cable and wait a few seconds...
Now SETool must recognize your phone...
...and we will hope that the CID is not important in this case...
Otherwise,if this little tutorial not help...
...your phone need service centre!

Ah well, it worked. I reflashed it somehow using a guide online. Except now I have a problem. The phone keeps freezing on me. It starts up and during the start up sequence it freezes. Any idea what does this? Btw, thanks for the help so far. |

Well, In the end I gave up with that bricked phone. I traded it to my cousin for his K800. He had his eye on my k810 for a while and thinks he knows how to fix it. Anyways, after I recieved his phone, I decided to flash it to K81o and change some of the start up and shutdown screens. Except now I got myself into another problem. It is now freezing. A lot. Like everytime I turn it on. I have included a picture to show what is happening. Any ideas on how to fix?
Thanks!

have you done any more flashing to your phone lately? if so, what have you done to it? if you don't use your phone make sure not to leave the battery in the phone.
try reflashing following this tutorial exactly.

don't forget. your battery has to be fully charged when you start flashing firmware!!!

If it is not broken don't fix it. Try a master reset.

Ah well thank you for that guide. Once I reflashed it the phone worked again! Thank you!.
Anyways, on a side note, do you know where I can find any guides on how to change the camera driver and music player on the k810 firmware? Thanks. |

There's a lot of websites that tell you how to do that. I just use google to find the sites.
here's one of my favorite sites.
