speed up tempo |

is there some sort of thing you can download where you can speed up the tempo of a recording, but keep the pitch the same? i would prefer a free thing to download or a decent demo or trial of one |

i tried audacity, but when i tried to make it go faster it made it sound all weird and it skipped parts... im looking for something that can speed it up or slow it down, but keep it smooth just as if it was actually recorded that fast/slow |

Then something must have gone wrong, because as said above, Audacity can do what you're asking for. |

Use a professional sound editor such as Sony Soundforge. It will provide you with more flexibility such as splicing frequency... hence better quality. |
