Debranded (twice) - and crap icons? |

Hi, I debranded my C905 with DaVinci to remove the bollocks Orange menu icons and to allow access to the shortcut menu.
I have debranded it successfully using the 'GENERIC' firmware and it has removed the orange menu icons and it has given me access to thes shortcut menu.
However, for some reason it doesn't like my flash themes. They can be applied with ease, and when they're on the backgrounds work. But for some reason I still have the naff original standard SE icons and not those that are supposed to be on.
The flash themes are genuine SE themes (from different phones like the G705) downloaded from SEMC blog.
Thing is, the 2 flash menus that came with my phone (Morning Glisten and Dusk Setting) have working menus with the rest of the theme.
I then debranded again using 'CUSTOMIZED UNITED KINGDOM' and the same has happened, I'm in exactly the same situation only I'm now a further £9.80 out of pocket

Your'e debranding went fine. It's just that the flash menu are missing from the file system. It's not only with your phone, all of us must put the menus into file system manually.
Download A2Uploader and put the flash menu (.swf) in:
TPAPRESETSYSTEMDESKTOPFLASH

I don't agree that the generic menu icons look bad. You should have seen the older ones... or any other phone manufacturer's.

@adamm - watch out for the fact that not all flash menus will work
anyway .... there are different flash lite versions. k850/w910 use v2.0
w902 uses v2.1 etc ....
