I'm sure this has already been answered but i searched the forums and used the FAQ to little effect  so.. here i go...
I have a T300 and yesterday i bought a datacable, i have some photos i want to upload to my pc from my phone. How do i do this? Is there software i need? If so, where can i get it from?

hmmm... I have IRda and i send file to phone by clicking right mouse button on the file and choise from menu send to the nearest computer...

Go to the FAQ
there's a list of software there
just download the software 'send file' by christersson.org and then attach ur phone, ur PC will recognize ur phone automatically |

You can't send files (pictures in your case) with datacable from your phone to yout PC. In your case the datacable was a bad investment 
Buy an IR or Bluetooth adapter! No additional software are needed and it works in both directions... |

i just had a look at the sonyericsson website and they dont have any Infra Red Adaptors, Where did you all get yours from?! |
