Under Messaging->SMS/MMS->Menu->New, I have three options:
1)MMS
2)SMS
3)VoiceMail

I chose VoiceMail and I made a 2 second audio recording. After putting in a subject, I tried sending it to an email address and it failed. I also tried sending it to a cell phone number, but it still failed. How exactly is this option supposed to work? Does it only work on certain provider's networks?

This feature isn't documented in the X1 owner's manual.

The voicemail is sent as an MMS. Do you have your operator's MMS settings in your mobile? Have you enabled the option to send/receive MMS from your operator?

That's weird. It's working now. Yes, it does send it as an MMS. I must have had a bad connection or made the audio file too big.

Thanks
