I bougth my P800 two weeks ago but it's an imported model. As I was told from a phone dealer that P800 has very limited stock(Import model)for now. I got mine for HKD$6600. My dealer friend told me that they will have more coming in by the end of this month. But he can't promise me. You should check the forum for sale of P800 because I know some sites still have them available. It's worthy every cents!!!!
I also called the SE offices in Hong Kong and asked them the release date for the P802(Chinese version). They told me they have no idea when it will be available. I had registered online(sonystyle.com.hk) back in the begining of December. Back then, they told me the phone should be ready for reservation(deposit) before Christmas but until today I have not receive any call from them.
I know there is one being auction at Go2HK.com but the starting the bid is HKD$9000. The most expensive I have seen was sold at HKD $13000. |

End of January, for the Chinese version of P800 in HK. That's the official voice by Sony Ericsson in HK and also in Taiwan. But you know, SE never eat their words.
The cheapest P800 I know so far is HKD 6500 to HKD 7350 at Sincere building at Mong Kok. A few shop got those parallel imports, all are English version. (which i've asked 2 days ago)
Heard from Taiwan, don't bother to think that you can upgrade from an English version to a Chinese version by simply installing the software to the parallel import model. At least Sony Ericsson here won't officially support and give you such software in a short time. That's why both HK and Taiwan Sony Ericsson have decided to delay the release of P800 and not go for English version at the beginning. There's still a few bugs in the current English version, so if you buy parrallel imports, there may be difficulty to upgrade your software. If you can wait, wait for the official release, and it should be cheaper too! |

first of all, SE did eat their words because until now there is no sign of the P800 in Hong Kong (officially) Well now we have a confirmed date and it is mid to the end of march. and as for the chinese P800, Se is releasing the english one first here not the chinese, the chinese version (P800c) will follow the english release.
