Has anyone had a fault where their C902 shows the touch screen blue camera icons when they're not in camera mode?

Mine did this a few days ago, they stayed for a couple of hours with one constant and one flickering.

I tried turning the phone off, leaving the battery out for 5 minutes, opening and closing the lens - nothing worked.

They then vanished a few hours later thankfully.

This in addition to it randomly rebooting is getting slightly annoying now!

I do hope Sony Ericsson reads boards like this as it's prime information on what's going wrong with their new phones / firmware...

I've got this problem too with my brandnew C902, i brought it back and got a new one, it's not a SW problem.

I am very sorry to hear of the issues you have been experiencing with your Sony Ericsson handset.

I can advise that the problems you have described are not known issues. Unfortunately we are only able to comment on these issues once your handset has been examined by a Sony Ericsson engineer. Until this has happened we are unable to state why this fault has occurred.

As part of the Sony Ericsson warranty we do provide a free post service where an approved engineer will examine and repair any fault covered under the terms and conditions of the warranty. If the handset cannot be repaired due to manufacturing fault then we will provide a replacement unit.

To send your handset for repair please complete the attached repair form which includes the address to send your handset to. Place your handset in a Jiffy bag with a copy of your proof of purchase and send it via your Post Office obtaining a Proof of Postage receipt.

Please note that if the damage is not covered by the Sony Ericsson Limited Warranty, there is a fee of £10.00 + VAT to have your product returned should you not accept the estimated costs for repair.

The details of your Sony Ericsson warranty can be found in your user manual or on our website at www.sonyericsson.com.

We will also pass the information you have provided us with onto the relevant department for future reference.

We apologise sincerely for any inconvenience that may have been caused.

How do you know it's not a SW problem?

I've taken my battery out and put it back in, and the lights start burning rightaway, even before i've started the phone up!
