I realize there's been a fair few threads on this, but has anyone worked out a cure for this?
People who've taken it in for repair (I no longer have warranty) seem to report that the problem comes back in a few days.
A lot of threads suggest 'flashing' it, however I'm not sure now this is possible when I can't even access the phone via my computer (the phone's operating system won't start; it's just the screen light flashing on and off), and the computer can't recognise the phone.

Any info would be greatly appreciated
Cheers

you can flash .... fire up the chosen 3rd party application and connect the
cable holding down the "C" button. This should get you the bootloader
and allow a re-flash.
I reject your reality and substitute my own.

I think Callywoowoo's phone is here

I have the white flashing screen problem with my Ericsson K750i, so it's basically a write off (unless anyone's actually had theirs fixed successfully?)

You have an EROM fault and the phone can be flashed still. Do as above (using either Davinci or Totalgsm) but instead me pressing C. Instead press and hold 2 and 5 until the phone is recognised.

Ok thanks.
I cannot tell if my battery is fully charged as the phone gives me no indication. Is this really crucial?
Also would I flash it to W800, K758 or D750 to remove the problem?

the phone needs to have enough battery to do the flash. If not it will probably currupt the process and might not be possible to do again.

Just plug your phone in to charge for an hour before. to make sure

I would suggest you leave your phone to charge for at least a day before trying.Even better would be to charge the battery in another phone if you can.30% - 50% battery is enough.Flashing your phone to W800,D750 will give you the same EROM as the K750 as they're basically the same phone. From the sounds of it.You actually have an old EROM anyway and when you flash your phone. The latest version will be installed which does fix the issue anyway.
