HI. I can access teh internet fine, but it's quite slow. I'm wondering how do i tell it to go 3G? (I can see the 3G symbol - does it use it whenever it can connect to it?) and also, if i connect to 3G is it the same price as GPRS? (i.e. per kb)
I've got a SE w960i on vodafone. |

Yep, depends on the 3G icon next to the signal meter.
No price difference.

If u can see the 3g icon then whenever u connect to internet will be at 3g speeds and will cost the same as non 3g. |

Yes if you can see the 3G icon however it will automatically switch to Edge or Gprs if 3G signal is low. That's happens to me all the time and pages take longer time to load because the connection is lost and the phone has to re-establish it. So I'd better use Gprs/Edge when that happens. |

If you are able to see bars and the icon is 3g it indicates that you will be able to connect to the internet @ 3g speed and in all likelihood would be charge the same rate as with non3g connections
