Whell, I'm really not certain where can I ask these question, so I decide to open new thread.
I'm the owner of SE C905 about two days, and what I notice on my pics is really to many noise. For camera with 8.1 MP I was accept much more, first of all I was making quite good art pics with my K750 who has just 2 MP.
I had experience and with K800i and it has also bad pics, and bad pics shoot delay, so I flash phone with ++, and ad a new driver in it, I think from number1.
Now, that phone was stollen from me ( don't wory guys, photos are here )
and I was pushed into a new shoping. I really make fast decision. C905 is in my hand, and it's not bad at all...Except it have to be, little moded by instaling new driver or maybe firmware....
So.... I came here, I was looking through other forums, and for C905 everyone sad to each other "Raiderski camdriver do the best job"....
And I decide to download A2 ( U must turn off AMON on NOD 32 if U want to exetute it, or even download it ),
BUT.....
Where is the mirror for download that camdriver ?
I cannot find them. So, little help form you or Raiderski himself would help me...
OK... Let's see.... This is general statistiscs of my software :
R1BA038
prg1205-9079_GENERIC_SI R1BA038
CamDriver 2.4.....
Best regards to all ! Thank You. !

It seems that I have the same wish as you're! Maybe I'm stupid, maybe I'm doing wrog steps, but with A2 uploader I did not do the job.
1) I can't find where is the driver... File system recognize Folders, but it seems that he does not recognize what is inside.
2) I can not find what I'm looking for.
3) This guy talkin' about some camdriver ( for which phone ? ) and he said the file manager doesn't recognize drivers, instead of that, use flasher.

Lets'see where are we right now.... I'm successfully upload rippi modded 2.41 driver into my C905...
Didn't understand all written tutorials on forums for A2uploader immediately..
My experience so far it seems better than original, but it has difficulties with macro...
Doesn't recognize max. sharpness, and it's showin the green box, on a failed distance, but minimally.... I tried with small small letters.... I always must reaarange the metric value with fisicaly changing position, I mean distance from object, to get the max. sharpness look on screen..
These I can make it, only because it was letters, and I well seen where is the sharpness max. Ok... Let' see what more I notice...
I notice in makro, that the option Normal and Spot Focusing, are minorized completely, I mean doesn't work so well, maybe doesn't work at all..
I tried to focus with spot, on one digit, on the remote controller, and he always failed to sharpnees this spot...Instead of that spot, max. sharpness was on the digit behind my center.
Better job is with optionally turned on stabilizing shooting, but the problem with failed focusing is also here. The pic maybe has the better sharpness at all, but the main focus dismissed.. If U R goin to beleiven the green box, there is no luck..
And I'm really pissed of with fact, that I cannot go to thumbnail view, when I connect my phone to computer, earlier wit K800 there is no problem.... No, I must guess which one is the pic I want to look....
Best regards from me, so far...

For the last part of your post - on your pc open the folder with the pictures inside, then right click, go on view and click on thumbnails.

Hello panoski
Thanx for testing my camdriver. I think the macro problem you talking about has nothing to do mith my driver because i didn`t change anything at the metering system.
I use my driver too and i didn`t have any problems with macro shots (or not more then with the original driver).

Using this A2 uploader makes me feel like an idiot too. I have managed to debrand my phone from Orange UK to a generic European model with the latest firmware (giving me the funky SE icons and google maps instead of Orange maps) but to replace the menu with a modded one that includes a flashlight application in organiser has got me beat.
Can anybody point me to some A2uploader tutorials please? |

Little tutorial with A2 uploader
Well, It's something like that :
First you must find where is the A2 uploader ( try to find latest Version it's no difficult )
Second, temporary disable your AVG; NOD32 ; or what U ever have for Your antivirus system. This is something you must to do, because this A2, antivirus programs recognized as a spyware, or somethin', and they don't let you to download it, or exetute A2 (Run it ).
Third,
when you do that.... Where is the your new camdriver? His name MUST BE camdriver0.dat, it is the one of three camdrivers in your phone.
Ok,
Now the REAL WORK. . Turn OFF mobile phone, pull out the battery and the SIM.
Return batter, without sim, don't put the cover on battery, cause U must pull it out once again, when U'll be over.
Plug the USB cable in computer ( don't connect the phone yet, only USB cable ) and put the end of the cable which is connecting on the phone near your hand on table.
Activate your ( installed ) program A2 uploader...
Click On image "File Manager" or "File System" don't know corectly, but U can miss it.
Look the left side of the screen, it will be some process begining in green ...
It will be showin
>>> "HOLD "C" on the phone ...and plug cable in it... "<<
Don't let the C yet, just hold it... Then U will see on right side on the screen, system files of your phone, which will appear in box...
U can now release "C"...
Click on "IFS" folder , then click on "settings" , and then on "camera" .
U will see the three drivers... camdriver0.dat, camdriver1.dat, camdriver2.dat...
Now You just Drag-and-Drop your driver ( with same name "camdriver0.dat" ) in that folder....
Old driver will be automatically swapped by this new one, and U can't return this original back ( don't worry it always have original drivers on the net )
Now You click STOP, and the other button Exit or somethin down the STOP.
Press "C" again..... Pull out the cable ( recomended to click on "Safely remove hardware" first ) ....
Pull out the battery ...and let it be out for at least 5 seconds...
Put the SIM back,
Put the battery back....Put the cover....Turn ON your phone....
THANK YOU...AND GOOD BY

You don't have to push "c" when you remove the cable...
