Problems with ericsson wap gateway |

I know this has been asked many times before but i haven't found an answer that solves my query completely.
I'm on orange with a t68, and want to download logos to my phone. However, i get the named box problem so tried to connect to wap using the ericsson gateway instead of the default orange gateway. I went to the automatic wap setup sms page, received the text and installed it properly (i think). I then go to the ericsson wap profile, it dials and verifies fine (but takes a while to) but then get stuck on the loading page for a while. After 1.09 mins exactly, it cuts off and i get a "connection unsuccesful, try again or check your settings" message. This has happen about 10 times now.
Does anyone know what the problem is?

I don't know anything about your specific problem however, I had a similar thing.
Isolved by going to genie.nl (this is a dutch site) and sent the wap-settings of a T520 or a T29 to my phone.
When using genie it works well. |

[I get that problem too when I try to access wap.wapsexy.com...But when I try to access esato wap I can get on okay...What wap site are you trying to download from?] |

i had EXACTLY the same problem mate.
heres what i did, it seems to be working now....touch wood!
from main menu click "wap services"
click "select profile"
ensure ericsson wap is selected
now press "no"
scroll down and click "wap settings"
click "ericsson wap"
click "gateway"
click "ip settings"
click "connect using"
click "ericsson wap"
now go back to the start and try again.

sorry mate. ignore above post my t68 has just reverted back to....same as yours.
nightmare.

Since fridaynight Í also haven't been able to connect the gateway anymore...I thought it was just my networkoperator being lame. |

I went to that address, set the settings and nothing worked!
It says "Failed" when I try to connect!
Btw u speak greek so we can understand each other better and help me solve this problem?  |
