Broke my K800 after firmware flashing. What to do? |

Was: K800 Broke!
I flashed my phone the other day and i think i have broken it.
Symptoms:-
Phone wont switch on
Phone wont get recognised by PC
The Infra red light flashes approx 5 times when i try to turn it on.
I have tried using wotan etc but with no joy.
Please help  )

1. Is your battery charged fully?
2. How did this happen?
3. Is wotan able to read data from your phone?

I flashed it the way i have always flashed phones
I think however on this time i deleted USB on the root directory??
The battery power is full |

yh its dead, happened to me when i left it off for 2dais, whilst i got my k850, tried everything. SEUS wouldnt recognise it, computer said " one of the usb devices plugged in this pc has malfunctioned." nothing to do except get a new one. |

Your erom is corrupted. Try the repair function in SETool connecting with 2 + 5.  |

i have installed setool but it still wont pick up my phone can someone give a step by step guide as to what i have to do? |

You'll need to install the USB drivers that come with SETool, probably a seperate download. I made a tutorial a long time ago on how to fix this problem. Use the Search and you'll see 
Also don't press C, but press 2+5 together until it shows up and also remember your battery has to be charged for it to be picked up, if your not sure check it in another phone.

Download, install (if you get any popups click accept or continue) and then restart your PC

My K800 was dead once too. I revived it as a K810 and it's still very much alive. It was indeed an erom accident that paralized the phone. I still wonder how many people threw away their phones thinking they were definitely dead.

lukechris - i have installed the program u kindly gave me but it still doesnt do anything?
How long am i to hold on 2 and 5 for?

You should find a way to check battery and charge it if empty...
Next:
1/Try to clean phone`s connector
2/download SETool Lite 1.08
3/start it
4/push "Identify" button
5/hold together 2 and 5 on phone`s keypad,not "C"
6/plug the cable and wait a few seconds...
Now SETool must recognize your phone...
If not...sorry...  ,you need service...
