Street view could be cool if it's available at your destination. Google needs to get voice recognition in there too besides just in the iPhone. |

Works fine in Atlanta. Besides, wasn't street view available in the J2ME version of GMaps a while back? |

no, the install of the new also uninstalls the old first automatically

I just installed it and had a little play, but it seems there's no street views on file for my area. I guess probably only major cities are included so far

^^^ I'm lucky then. I got caught up in a huge freeway slowdown while traveling. Google maps traffic info gave me enough info to where I could detour around it. |
