Hi guys!
As some of you might remember I've been a hard core user for years and years.
I bought myself a W902 a few weeks ago and was quite happy with it the first couple of weeks. The all of a sudden the screen started playing tricks on me! White lines started appearing and I thought it had gotten exposed to moist of some sort. Condensation in my jacket or something... (Here in Norway it's a wee bit nipppy these days. 13 below zero this morning) So getting in doors after having been out in the cold for a while tend to create a tad of moist in the oute pockets of jackets.
I took it to the shop where I bought it and was honest, I told them I didn't know but it might have been wather damaged.
Dropped by the shop again today to check if they'd got the phone back. A quick check told us it'd be back tomorrow with a new screen and (off course) with the latest. BUT; what they'd one on top of that was that they'd changed the back cover of the phone! I knew it was a bit rattely but never thought much of it and didn't mention it when handing it in for repair. Sorting out foults without being asked is what I call 1st class service.
This is why I never left !
(Better the divil you know...)
Thanks
As

LOL /\\ . Well the services aren't as good everywhere as they're in Norway. But I STILL am a lucky Sony Ericsson owner. Though the service isn't as good as Norway in Macedonia I still love SE and I am very satisphied by most of their products.
Thanks |

The screen is broken due to coldness.
I'm glad to see people like you with such attitude. Some others would hate SE just because something went wrong with their phone.

Hey, nothings perfect!
I would rather send my phone to norway and pay $20 than have one part of it repaired while another part broken during the repairs.

Damn right, quite often in New Zealand the phone comes back from repair scratched or damaged, as both carkitter and myself have experienced. I think it is because we don't have and specialised SE centres. Only phone repair centres that deal with all brands.

Yea one time my friends phone had a problem (v600 I think it was) and needed the sim holder replaced, when it came back the service center had stolen the screen!

many times happens here too... Most of the GSM services know to remove new parts from the phones sent for service and replace them with old and used ones.

Well; I'm happy as a bunny here.
Picked up my phone today. Still looks brand spankin' new.
Nice and firm back cover and a bright clear screen (it actually looks clearer than the previous screen!). It was even wrapped in a felt cloth!
Oh, yes; and a service report with a hand written signature of the chap who did the service.

they would have swapped it with a new one on the spot for you... |

I sended my W810i for repair (officially, the warranty was voided because of hacking and unlocking). The fast port didn't work good and the cam button was somewhat broken. When it came back, I saw they just gave me a new phone That's what I call great service |

I've never had to take any of my SE phones to a service centre even once.
So I'm very happy with SE right now.

have you contacted the Guiness Book of Records yet? they were waiting for the first person to win the lottery, get struck by lightning, and find gold at the end of the rainbow, all in the same day. but your record is considered far more noteworthy. |
