Was: Problem with k800i.

Hi.

I recently bought a sony ericsson k800i online and the seller said that it was completely unlocked. So I put my sim card in turned it on and it came up with a message saying insert correct sim card. Tried it with my brothers and my dad's sim and it said the same thing.

How can I get it to work?

Thanks,
brad

Its locked, that's the reason its giving you that error.
If your CID is <52 you can refer this tutorial to unlock.

Sorry to be a nuisance but I don't know anything about phones. How do I know if it is <52? And what is CID?
