this has got to be THE most annoying song of the decade (i'd saymullenium, but decade is longer), it truely gets on my nerves whenever i hear it on the radio

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sxlg6BIrQZY

most of the song is the repeated "i wanna make love na na na"... how irritating!... i get the point!

anyone else have any songs that they absolutely hate (even tho everyone are idiots and seem to like it)?
I don't wanna sleep
I don't wanna dream
'cause my dreams don't comfort me

Do you think before you speak?

a decade is 10 years, a millennium is 1000 years.

Nah.. he's probably right. A mullenium is like a mullet that quickly goes out of fashion in a couple of weeks.

Poor joke, I know.

Isn't most things that come out of an American artist's mouth annoying, and shite?
Seriously, their rappers are bollocks and there seems to be a new "emo" band every week.

You want hiphop, rap, grime? The Streets, N-Dubz, Dizzee Rascal, Bashy, Lethal Bizzle, Lady Sovereign and Plan B all fit the bill nicely.

Lethal Bizzle - Police On My Back
Dizzee Rascal - Sirens
The Streets - Could Well Be In
N-Dubz - Work Work

As for other genres, rock, alternative etc.? Arctic Monkeys, Oasis, Biffy Clyro, Bloc Party, Coldplay, Editors, The Enemy, Fatboy Slim, Franz Ferdinand, Muse etc.
I won't post links... you've probably heard them all, but this is better than Bullet for my Valentine and My Chemical Romance.

ahh shite. but I'm not going to eat humble pie.
I'm sure you get what I mean?
Regardless of their Britishness, they're still crap, along with that Enter Shikari, Funeral for a Friend and the rest of that music scene - it's clear they're trying hard to be like the Americans.

How are they trying to be american, dont think i've heard an american band like Enter Shikari.... And just because America is better known for producing bands such as BFMV and Funeral for a Friend, doesnt mean that those bands are trying hard to be like the Americans???

You cant really call em crap either to be honest there just probably not to your taste....

That's your opinion, and I respect that, but 'round here, we've a major 'scene kid' issue. Where the kids that blare music out from their phones on the bus have become 'scenesters' which blare music from their phones.
In essence, chavs in Topshop/Topman clothes. And I don't want to label people, but you have to when they're all the same. You've probably got to be my age to understand this, but seriously, thanks to these bands and Topshop, half my generation now looks the same.
This whole genre of music is thanks to the American-isation of Britain.
