Having problem with K850 flash pics? |

I have read many posts of people who are having all-white pics with flash fired on their K850
This info is for all of those people:
I too had the same issue. I even thought of selling my phone because flash ruined many of my close-up pics, but I decided to give it to SE service center (my phone is still under warranty:-)). Initially they were not convinced, but at last they replaced the light sensor with a new one.
Wow!! now my pics are perfect. Flash does not ruin my pics
I can say for sure that if u r having the same problem, it is because of a defective sensor - not at all a firmware issue. (mine is R1FA035).
Try to convince the SE service center people. demonstrate the problem..
good luck

Me too had the same issue before but i read on some other post that cleaning the light sensor with toothpick will improve macro+flash pics. Then I tried it and the results are awesome!

@nnr3
that too is a possibility....
but for those who exhausted that option too, a defective sensor can be confirmed..
i had tried cleaning the sensor with no effect..
if everything is okay, this phone can take super quality pics... i too initially cursed this phone, but now it is simply great |

unfortunately, i do not have any photos prior to changing sensor because i always delete them off my computer/phone because no worth keeping an all-white photo |
