X1 - Network type keep changing (WCDMA to auto) |

Everytime I set the network type to WCDMA it keeps changing back to auto. As a result I cant get to use the 3G service being offered by my network operater...any suggestions on how to fix this? |

If you have it on auto, shouldn it choose whatever network available? So if 3G is available....At my end it does....it always choose the network with the highest speed....

that what I thought too but my wife phone is showing 3G and mine aint  |

Do you have the same provider as your wife? What does it show on top of your phone? E for edge?
