hi im going new york on the 24th of december and was wondering if any one knows where to get the best exchange rate from, and if you have any spare you would like to sell i would be very interested ,

you are stitched at the mo, it's like £1 = $1.50, I would take minimal money with you and get it there!

Umm, I thought the exchange rate is just the exchange rate, theres not different ones in different currency exchange places is there?

Weird, never knew that. So when I use XE.com to check the exchange rate before I buy something, what judges that? I only ever use international currency if I'm buying something only etc.

when using XE thats the official exchange rate set by FX, but obviously everyone is out to make a cut so eg paypal will set it rate in their favour and then cash your money in and make something out of it.

And yes the situation is quite bad at the moment
