w580i screen not working |

Hi I have a w580i and the screen does not work, it flashes gets snowy, and does other crazy stuff but not what it's supposed to do. Can I just buy a new lcd for it to fix it? And if so is that a job a noob can do?
(it was not dropped, however may have had moisture from being in bathroom while I showered.)

Have you just answered your own question? 
Sounds more like a screen data ribbon problem - cheaper to replace than a screen but a bit trickier!

I got a good deal on the screen on ebay. It fixed my phone and I'm happy! My backup phone was a piece of ****. Thanks for the advice, but it was a little late for me. |
